Deryl Laklan	One of the cities in the Hundred Kingdoms known as Iron Simhata almost became a new cursed city like the ill-fated Thorns. The city's patron smith god was killed by a deathknight for his own dark rituals and caused a string of suicides in a nearby town. He would have been successful, until one of the chosen hired by the townsfolk to seek out the perpetrator of the suicides ended the chosen of death once and for all with the help of some figures. After the deathknight's demise, the moniker "Diamond Devil Prince Of The Shimmering Hell" has gained some recognition in this region of the Hundred Kingdoms. According to those that saw him, he was a warrior with shining eyes that resembles that of snakes and appear to be gems. He wields a daiklave of a rare magical material.....adamant. The mercenary lives among a Thornish refugee camp protected by strange soldiers that are under him. The refugees decided to make the settlement permanent as they began building small houses and even tried to use the land to farm crops. As Deryl has received the reward that has been doubled by the town's mayor, the villagers are seen getting crates of food and seeds so that they may live another day and not starve to death. Despite the houses and cabins being small, they are painted with various works of art and dazzling patterns. Reminiscent to that of the Thorns of old before one of the deathlords claimed it.
Scarlet Onyx Sunada	A warrior walks down the road leading to Iron Simhata and the new Thorns refugee camp. She wears traveling clothes and a backpack. The backpack has bits of her armor sticking out of it. She uses a metal shod staff as a walking stick. She has heard for the last few miles from the traveling merchants about the hero of the village. She goes to find out the nature of the Exigant and to comfirm the stories being told.
Deryl Laklan	As the warrior walks down by the river, she can see the crystalline eyed mercenary aiding the villagers with carrying materials as there are carpenters building a small port for fishing boats by the side of the river. The "exigent" is followed and escorted by soldiers that stand still and protect him and the workers as if they are automatons. "Phew thank Gods and dragons that the reward money arrived. Even if we plan to set up a farm nearby, the rivers bounty can provide our needs" He says to the workers as the last wooded part has arrived so the port can be assembled. "And now all we need are well....boats. I shall try to contact one of the carpenters in one of the nearby towns" He takes a deep breath as now that's over.
Scarlet Onyx Sunada	The warrior watches the men following the crystal-eyed exigant and the way they move like marrionettes. This triggers a memory for her from a past life about someone with servants like this. An exalt of some kind that her master warned her about. She needs to make sure before reporting back to the Bureau. "Hail, are you the one travelers are calling the Diamond Prince?" She calls out to the leader. "I am on my way to Greyfalls and wanted to see for myself."
Deryl Laklan	"Yes that's me. At least it was not the full title since it's irritating hearing that long ass name. I earned that moniker since I pissed off that deathknight and I'm an annoyance to the chosen of the Mask Of Winters. Since I rescued some of the villagers in areas controlled by them" He greets the stranger that arrived in this village with curiosity. "Oh you were heading to Greyfalls? I heard it was one of the few Realm controlled domains in the East from my former Cathak employer" "I guess word easily got out about my deeds even though I'm one of the few people that defeated the deathknight calling himself Vitiating Whispers. I remember there was a lion dog god or something too"
Scarlet Onyx Sunada	"So you are the man I have been hearing about. Indeed, your exploits are being spread throughout the Hundred Kingdoms. If you aren't too busy could you tell me where I could see the place the battle happened? I want to be able to tell my grandchildren one day that I stood on the ground a great battle happened upon."
Deryl Laklan	"Iron Simhata is just a long walk away but it shouldn't be that far. First go into this town that were the ones to hire me, since they have a path leading to that city" He tells him the directions to the town so that it may lead her to the route towards the city state. "The battle happened within the deatknight's tower he erected but now it's the home of some ancestor ghosts after Vitiating Whispers was slain. The city is undergoing some changes now that their god Nefer-Bel-Gevil is dead. That nasty fucker of a deathknight used his starmetal heart for the tip of his soulsteel staff" "Besides the ancestor ghosts, the god's runaway daughter who was a minor god of gardens and something that has an exigent champion now helps manage the city. Turns out she ran away because her father threatened her since her prayer for an exigence was answered, while his was not which resulted in his jealous wrath that drove her away"
Scarlet Onyx Sunada	A look of amazement crosses her face. "The battle took place in the tower, that's amazing. I truely should go look at it before I continue on to Greyfalls. Will the ghosts have any problems with me going into the tower?" "You say the deathknight killed a god? And the god had a magical heart? This is the most amazing story." She appears very excited by the chance to see the battlefield. "I would take my leave now Prince unless you wanted to walk to town with me."
Deryl Laklan	"I remember the deathknight claimed he deceived the god into partaking into a ritual that killed him. I forgot some details." He responds to her questions regarding the affairs of Iron Simhata. "I don't know if the ancestor ghosts may let you in but I suggest talking to the goddess or maybe her exigent to vouch for you. The city's governance has been changed so I don't know the entire detail" "Hmm what's your name by the why are you planning to go to Greyfalls? Sure, I can lead you to the town. Bandits and other criminals prey on lone travelers after all"
Scarlet Onyx Sunada	"That makes much more sense. I will have to seek out the Exigant of the god to patition for admittance. That makes a lot of sense." "I am known as Crimson Rain. Thank you for the accompaniment. I wouldn't want to get accosted so close to a goal."
