Winds and Dreams Late in the month of Resplendent Water, the trees of the Eastern woodlands are riotous with colour and equal parts appealing and concerning for the oncoming winter. Still, little deters a determined Lunar from pressing on, and it's with a remarkably casual air that this one travelling woman walks along the road.

The great black wolf padding along beside her likely helps.

Supposedly in this stretch there are some territorial disputes between tribes and such at the moment- but at least for the moment, there appears to be little happening in this particular stretch of the road and wood.

Rishi Possibly the casual air is helped by her other traveling companion, a curvy woman with the wings and talons of a ferocious gargoyle. Her sharp teeth are currently digging into a poor defenseless peach, her knapsack bulging with it's bretheren.
She offers one to Wids as she swallows then broaches a subject "I haven't met very many of us. Well...aside from the one who tattooed me, it's really just been you and the Mountain back there. I'd like to know more."
Winds and Dreams "Well, there is Seira in Great Forks... and beyond that, little to speak of that I know," admits Winds, shrugging as she takes the fruit from the other woman's hand idly. She's rather plain looking, by comparison, to all but the very most trained of eyes.

"I spent much of my early days since... all this, pursuing a war I had been a part of when it happened. I didn't have many chances to meet others- though I did meet one of the... well, for lack of a better term, Forsaken."

Rishi Rishi tilts her head in what Winds is rapidly associating as her "considering" pose. "Well, however little you know, I still likely know less. What war were you a part of? And what is a "Forsaken?"
Winds and Dreams "A petty war- a couple of the Hundred Kingdoms in one tiff or another. If I'm being honest- I didn't know the sides so much as those affected by it," says Winds, glancing off into the woods for a moment. "But it was what it was. It hadn't been my first war- and now I doubt my last."

A curious quirk of the brow from Winds as she looks back at Rishi then. "The... term used for certain sorts of 'Anathema' as the Immaculate philosophy defines it. Something like a golden counterpart to the kind of moon-chosen -I- am."

Rishi Rishi's face brightens. "Ahhh. Yes, I had heard that the Northern version of the "Pure Way" was very different, but I know very little of their teachings regardless. I am originally from Ysyr and we had few dealings with Prasad that were not wars of one kind or another. I left home because of a fundamental conflict in our beliefs, yes, but I am given to understand that these Northern Pure are much less tolerant of our kind?" She smiles a bit at that last comment, indicating that it is spoken somewhat in jest.
"So, The Golden Ones....they are the chosen of the Sun, I suppose? What are they like? Hot and Hard and Uncompromising as the Sun in summer?"
Winds and Dreams "... Pure Way?" questions Winds, brow rising a little. "Not familiar. But... as for the fellow I met. He seemed belligerent and perhaps not the brightest- euphemistically, mind. So perhaps your assessment is accurate, but it was only the one fellow, hardly much to judge from."

A glance down and she rubs the head of her animal compnaion gently for a moment. "I'd have to meet more."

Rishi Rishi tilts her head again. "How best to say this.... The pure way is what the Empire of Prasad holds to. They believe that they are ruled by gods and that those with the Blood of Dragons are earthly gods as well and divinely blessed to rule. Something like that. I doubted that I would be welcome there, so I flew over their empire when I was traveling north. 'Twas a pretty place."
She nods at the comment. "Meeting more of the Chosen is always interesting. Such strong personalities."

She looks Winds over, then says, a little hesitantly, "I was told that the Shining Lady, She of Many Faces, gives us a new body if we so desire when she Chooses us."

	 "Are you....happy with yours?"
Winds and Dreams A pause from Winds, and she shrugs. "I suppose so. Bit of a fluid question, now. Can change in many ways as I like. The eyes were a surprise, maybe. Used to be grey."

She shrugs it off with that, glancing down once more. "And I'll admit, I quite like the tattoos. Asena here shares them when I'm not hiding them."

Rishi Rishi beams, "Yes, yes! They are quite lovely, especially with how they glow with the soul's fire! And our fluidity is ever so useful!" She stretches, two extra arms sliding out as she does so. "But, the reason I ask is that I've been learning to extend our fluidity to others, as part of my skills as a healer. I want everyone to be able to enjoy the body they live in, just as I do. I hope I did not insult your talents, but I try to ask everyone I meet if they're happy as they are, as I can often help."
Winds and Dreams "I'm generally content as I am," says Winds with a slight shrug, tilting her head a little in turn. "I'm not as skilled as you, I admit. But if for whatever reason I come across some unhappiness I will be certain to come calling in one fashion or another." She tilts her head then, and frowns. "How do you... share it, anyways?"
Rishi "At first, I simply....made do with these." She holds up her claws, grown sharper and thinner. "As I practiced and increased in my understanding of how bodies work, I learned that the power that flows through us can be forced out, so that the flesh of others will obey my will just as my own does.
"For more complex cases, such as where I would need to create new limbs from nothing, I learned that I can take part of the knowledge we gain from the blood of others, combine it with the power to move flesh, and concentrate it into a drop of my own blood." She smiles brightly. "After which, all they must do is drink it."

"I also must use Sorcery on occasion. Some transformations are still a little too complex for what I have learned of our power, but Sorcery usually suffices, though it takes much longer." She cups her rather large chest. "It took two weeks to encourage my chest to grow to this size. But that was when I was just starting. I could easily do it in a few moments now."
Winds and Dreams A few blinks from Winds and she shakes her head at that. "Seems like quite the backache to voluntarily opt into," she muses, shrugging it off for the moment.

"I must say most of that is well beyond me. I've never held such... cerebral professions. More difficult to spot and handy with a sharp object." She shrugs- and then sniffs gently, and turns her gaze upwards.

Rishi "Well that's simply a matter of adjusting and strengthening several other mus.... Is something wrong?"
Winds and Dreams "Something, yes- you don't smell that?" Winds questions, perhaps alluding directly to her both totemic and partner animal. She turns into the woods proper a moment after, nodding forward. "Smoke. Blood. Not much metal. Worth looking into, at least."
Rishi Rishi closes her eyes, breathing deeply, her chest heaving. ".....Ah! Yes, I do, thank you for pointing it out. I think you have a much better nose than mine, I should consider fixing that...
Rishi "...Oh! Right, we should go see what is happening. Someone might need help!"
Winds and Dreams A moment after, Winds has transformed- and indeed, her form is lupine. A snowy-white arctic wolf, starkly contrasting the black-furred Asena at her side, and takes off into the woods after what she's spotted.
Rishi Rishi takes to the air, flying after her, in search of the problem.
